Gata Negra Zine #3 ‘Monta un pollo – Raise hell!’
From the bedroom to society as a whole, the aim of women’s movement as a liberation movement is to reject all domination!!!
“…. I raise hell for my sister, for my mother, for my boyfriend, for my neighbor. I complain about everything, everything I write, everything I live and everything just kills me. If I didn’t raise hell, maybe I wouldn’t die so much all the time, but my life would be completely boring. I hope I never lose through my torn pockets the ability to shout out loud, or the strength that I get from having no strength at all. When I am shouting at a man, I am all the names of all the women who never shouted.” N.R.
Gata Negra Zine #2 ‘Eat the Rich’
One of the worst things about the politics of the past few decades, is that the rich have forgotten to be afraid of the poor – the naked greed, corruption and cowardice of the global ruling class during the pandemic, has shown how little they care for the opinions or values of the people that actually keep society running. We don’t need them, they need us and all that they are good for, is dog-mince…
Gata Negra Zine #1 ‘Why A.C.A.B.?’
On our first Issue we speak about the defunding of the police, police brutality against working class communities, the global militarisation of police forces, the abusive treatment of women by cops, the state and it’s bully-boys and why all cops around the world are a big joke.”
Why A.C.A.B.? What exactly does that acronym refer to? Police brutality? It seemed vague to me to think in that single dimension, in a unidirectional reading. The truth is that ACAB goes beyond bastard policemen: ACAB is the abuse of authority, ACAB is the militarization of the police forces, ACAB is the abuse of women for a masculinization of order, ACAB is the racialization of laws, ACAB is the disintegration of the institution of policing, its reduction or even abolition. And beyond an old countercultural skin anthem, it is the remainder of the class war in the cities.
